This session focused on integrating MS Copilot (formerly Bing Chat), a generative AI, into education. After a Privacy Impact Assessment at UBC, its use in classroom assignments is now approved. We explored MS Copilot’s applications in article annotation, computer vision, and AI-driven image generation, highlighting its role in enhancing classroom learning. The session provided an overview for educators, students, and staff on the practical use of AI tools in education, emphasizing their potential to support and enrich learning experiences.
