GenAI Maker Session: Developing Quizzes and Problem Sets with Generative AI –

GenAI Maker Session: Developing Quizzes and Problem Sets with Generative AI

In our recent GenAI Maker Session, participants explored various generative AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Claude, and AI Teaching Assistant—to create effective quizzes and problem sets tailored to their teaching contexts. Through a series of interactive challenges, attendees learned to contextualize questions, spot AI-generated errors, and use the ACTOR prompt model to refine their outputs. We also delved into more complex tasks, including generating data diagrams, equations, and interactive artifacts, offering valuable insights into the capabilities and limitations of these tools in enhancing classroom engagement. To support your continued learning we have included the session slides, recording and worksheet below. We have also created a custom GPT that you can ask questions to and get further information related to the workshops and developing quizzes and problem sets with Generative AI.
