Replay: CTLT Promptathon

See which GenAI Tools are PIA-Approved for Instructional Use

Without a PIA, instructors cannot require students use the tool or service without providing alternatives that do not require use of student private information

On July 31, the CTLT hosted the “ChatGPT and Generative AI Prompt-a-thon,” a focused 2.5-hour online session at UBC. This event delved into the practical use of prompting with Generative AI, tailored specifically for academic teaching and research. Facilitators with hands-on experience guided faculty, students, and staff through concrete strategies, offering clear examples and resources. The session’s hands-on exercises demonstrated how these techniques could be integrated into specific courses or disciplines.
